Decision
Consequence blocks above your spoiler level stay veiled. You are currently reading at minimal.
The decision
Something is happening now. Do you go, or do you finish what you are doing?
Option
Spend the units and be present.
Immediately
Spends time units against the deadline.
Option
Keep your units. Accept that the situation may resolve without you.
Immediately
No verified consequence is recorded yet.
Later
Characters can die through delay and failure to intervene, not only through direct violence.
The game is designed to continue rather than break. It will not stop you — it will simply proceed without that person.
Consequences carry a severity — informational, changes dialogue, locks content, character death, ending impact — and a timing. Anything that locks content or kills somebody is stated in plain language rather than hidden behind an icon, because a consequence you cannot read is not a warning.
Delayed consequences sit behind a spoiler veil at level 2. Raise your spoiler setting to read them by default.
Which specific threads expire, and when, is unconfirmed.
