Decision
Consequence blocks above your spoiler level stay veiled. You are currently reading at minimal.
The decision
This person is in your way. Do you remove them?
Option
Keep the character, their quests and their information available.
Immediately
No verified consequence is recorded yet.
Option
Permitted. The game continues; the content attached to them does not.
Immediately
Coverage reports that players may kill any NPC they like and still finish the game.
Later
Everything routed through that character closes with them.
Killing raises Infamy, which some factions read as a recommendation.
Consequences carry a severity — informational, changes dialogue, locks content, character death, ending impact — and a timing. Anything that locks content or kills somebody is stated in plain language rather than hidden behind an icon, because a consequence you cannot read is not a warning.
Delayed consequences sit behind a spoiler veil at level 2. Raise your spoiler setting to read them by default.
