Decision
Consequence blocks above your spoiler level stay veiled. You are currently reading at minimal.
The decision
Do you spend units on training, knowing something else may resolve without you?
Option
Convert units into permanent power.
Immediately
Some skill and perk learning consumes time units. The UI warns you before an action spends time.
Later
Hands-on coverage describes spending time on skills and, as a result, missing another quest's outcome.
Option
Resolve the time-sensitive thing first and buy power afterwards.
Immediately
Keeps time-limited content on the table.
Later
You attempt the encounter with a weaker character. Whether that matters depends on the encounter and the difficulty.
Consequences carry a severity — informational, changes dialogue, locks content, character death, ending impact — and a timing. Anything that locks content or kills somebody is stated in plain language rather than hidden behind an icon, because a consequence you cannot read is not a warning.
Delayed consequences sit behind a spoiler veil at level 2. Raise your spoiler setting to read them by default.
Which skills cost time, and how much, is unconfirmed.
