Hex magic
Increases how many Witchcraft abilities can be equipped at once, from two up to four across three ranks. Slot count is a real constraint, because day and night carry separate ability loadouts — every slot here is a daytime slot. The ladder costs one skill point for the first rank, one for the second and two for the third, and one time segment each: four points and three segments to reach four slots. The node itself waits on the Forbidden Sigils Manual, which costs neither.
Each rank is bought separately. Point costs are unpublished except where stated.
The rank ladder — point cost, time cost, slot count, and for Vrakhiri Might the Corruption thresholds — is published exactly by a first-hand retail guide, and is the only exact per-rank costing any source gives for any node. What it does not give is the rest of the tree: where this node sits relative to anything other than its own prerequisite is still unpublished, and nothing here is extrapolated to its neighbours. Its tier, its prerequisite and its rank count come from a September 2026 structured tree listing — a strong secondary source rather than a first-hand one, so the edges are reported rather than verified. Its on-screen position, its time cost and any Corruption gate remain unpublished.
