Decision
Consequence blocks above your spoiler level stay veiled. You are currently reading at minimal.
The decision
Go make yourself useful — but get home before dusk. See you then, or wait with him?
Option
One segment, and the prologue's side quests stay open.
Immediately
Costs one time segment and ends the quest, leaving room to do side quests before the next main quest starts on its own.
Option
Five segments, and the next main quest begins immediately.
Immediately
Costs five time segments — most of a phase — and skips straight to the next main quest.
Later
Takes a large bite out of the prologue's free time, and every prologue side quest disappears when the prologue ends.
Consequences carry a severity — informational, changes dialogue, locks content, character death, ending impact — and a timing. Anything that locks content or kills somebody is stated in plain language rather than hidden behind an icon, because a consequence you cannot read is not a warning.
Delayed consequences sit behind a spoiler veil at level 2. Raise your spoiler setting to read them by default.
Five segments is more than half a phase spent on one line of dialogue. Only one source states it, and it is the number most worth checking in game.
