Compel Soul

Compel Soul lets Coen communicate with the dead, opening investigative possibilities that would otherwise be closed. Hands-on coverage refers to the same thing as a speak-to-the-dead skill. Two things the walkthrough pins down. It does not work on every body: the game marks the ones it will answer for, and the tell is moths circling above the corpse. And it is **day-only in practice** — magic is available to Coen in human form and not in vampire form, so a murder scene visited at night simply cannot be questioned. The narration says so outright while standing over the body. That is a routing constraint, not a flavour note. If a quest's evidence is a corpse, the night route has to solve it another way or come back in daylight.
