Deadline outcome
Consequence blocks above your spoiler level stay veiled. You are currently reading at minimal.
Let more than thirty in-game days pass after the prologue without reaching the ending. Waiting repeatedly at a shrine is enough to force it.
Only what a source states. A short list is a short list, not a complete one.
quest
The count starts after the prologue.
day-range
More than thirty in-game days.
Read from this ending's own record rather than from the quests, because none of these advertises itself as an ending route while you are playing it.
A cutscene in which Coen's family dies in Brencis's castle.
In the Nick of Time is gone for that run — it requires rescuing the family before the deadline — and so, therefore, is that half of The Turncoat's reward.
The run does not stop. This is the one outcome here you can play past, and the other endings remain reachable afterwards.
This is where two pages of the same source read as contradicting each other: one says there is no free roam after an ending, the other says you can still free-roam after this one. They are about different things — the four chosen endings return you to the title screen, and the deadline is a cutscene rather than a stopping point. It also matches the official line that the game continues past the deadline.
