Final-quest ending
Consequence blocks above your spoiler level stay veiled. You are currently reading at minimal.
In A Deal with the Devil, take the first dialogue option “I just want my family back”, then confirm with “I'll do it”. The second and fourth lines are free, as long as you never take the sword option — that attacks Brencis on the spot and ends the conversation.
Only what a source states. A short list is a short list, not a complete one.
quest
Reach the final quest.
day-range
Inside thirty days. Past the deadline the family is already dead, and In the Nick of Time is gone for that run.
quest
Esme must have survived the prologue — give her the correct medicine in time.
quest
Be invited into the Manumit hideout, which needs The Firebrand → Shadows in the Woods → Where Loyalty Lies.
phase
Night. Brencis asks you to mark the hideout, and the door only triggers this after dark.
Read from this ending's own record rather than from the quests, because none of these advertises itself as an ending route while you are playing it.
1.A Deal with the Devil
Cost unknownThe final quest. With all three officers dead and Infamy at its ceiling, Brencis asks to parley — and every ending branches from here.
2.The Firebrand
Cost unknownOpens on leaving Laslea Glen, and resolves inside a Court activity: clearing Under Watchful Eyes completes it.
3.Shadows in the Woods
Cost unknownMert, at Stoneward Post. A thousand XP — the largest side-quest award published — and the second step towards the Manumit.
4.Where Loyalty Lies
Cost unknownThe invitation into the Manumit hideout. Two separate endings pass through this one quest.
The flavour text is verbatim, and on several endings it is the only published description there is.
The Turncoat
silver“Betray your allies to strike a deal with Brencis and get your family back.”
In the Nick of Time
gold“Rescue your family before the time runs out.”
The only ending that returns Coen's family alive, and it is bought with the people who helped him get there.
Reachable from inside either ally's ending path as well — Brencis offers the same bargain just before the final fight, as “I accept your offer. I'm sorry, Lacra” on Lacra's route and “Please – maybe we can come to an agreement” on Crake's.
The two trophies are reported together, which suggests In the Nick of Time is the deadline check rather than a separate ending — but no source states that outright, and it is not asserted here.
