Final-quest ending
Consequence blocks above your spoiler level stay veiled. You are currently reading at minimal.
In A Deal with the Devil, take the first dialogue option “Enough. Time to End this.”
Only what a source states. A short list is a short list, not a complete one.
quest
Reach the final quest.
Read from this ending's own record rather than from the quests, because none of these advertises itself as an ending route while you are playing it.
The flavour text is verbatim, and on several endings it is the only published description there is.
The Folk Hero
silver“Defeat Brencis on your own. All the glory is yours. Yours alone. Nobody else's.”
The cheapest of the four to reach: it needs no ally questline, only the three officers dead and one line of dialogue.
Also reachable straight out of the prologue by breaking into Greifberg Castle, which skips the officers entirely — over the wall at night with Planeshift and Shadowstep, or through the side entrance north-west of the Vedera Shallows Shrine. The side door needs either Father Florin's help (In the Name of the Father) or the Side Gate Key looted from the miniboss Georghe, “The Rabid Duke”, at a bandit camp on the eastern edge of the map.
The early castle break-in is the concrete version of the developer's long-standing claim that Brencis can be attacked far sooner than the game expects. It is reported to reach this same ending; whether the outcome is identical to the prepared version is not stated.
